Connect BloFin MCP
Create a BloFin MCP API key, then paste it in Settings so crypto Dual Thrust signals can trade on your account. Withdraw permissions stay off.
1. Open API management
- Log in at blofin.com.
- Open your profile menu → API / API Management.
2. Create an MCP API key
- Click Create API Key.
- Choose BloFin MCP as the key type (or Connect to Third-Party Applications and select our app if listed). Do not use a generic “API Transaction” key.
- Name the key something you recognize (for example, Darvas).
- Set a strong passphrase and store it — you will paste it here later.
- Enable Read and Trade. Leave Withdraw off.
- Optional but recommended: IP-allowlist our trading host (ask support for the current IP before locking the key).
3. Save the three values
BloFin shows the API key, secret key (once), and your passphrase. Copy all three into a password manager before closing the dialog.
4. Paste into Settings
- Open Settings → BloFin.
- Paste API key, secret, and passphrase.
- Check “Demo trading key” only if the key was created for demo trading.
- Click Connect BloFin. We verify with a read-only balance call, then store ciphertext only — the secret is never shown again.
Security
- Never enable Withdraw on the API key.
- Prefer an IP allowlist limited to our host.
- Rotate the key if it may have leaked; disconnect in Settings first.
- Start on demo before live when you are new to the flow.
Common failures
- Credentials rejected
- Passphrase is case-sensitive; secret must be complete; demo/live mode must match the key.
- Orders fail with broker id errors
- Recreate the key as BloFin MCP (or our third-party app), not a generic key.
- Intermittent auth / IP errors
- Add our current host IP to the key’s allowlist.
